Year 3 UPDATED Reading Programme
We at St Catherine’s understand how important reading development is for every child. We also understand that our parents are keen to help their children in every way they can. To this end we are providing a Literacy Information Evening for PARENTS ONLY on Tuesday 14th January at 7pm on the Junior Site. This session promises to provide parents with all the information they need to help their child with Linguistic Phonics. The evening will also introduce parents to our Paired Reading Programme which can be carried out at home over the next 4 weeks with their child. We will also introduce you to our wonderful Accelerated Reader Programme we have at school, which we would encourage your child to avail of on a daily basis. We look forward to seeing you then!
